Abstract
Renormalizations of the vector-boson masses in SU(2) × U(1) theories due to fermion and Higgs loops are calculated by considering the dynamics of the Goldstone sector of the theory. The precise source of these effects is the explicit breaking of an accidental chiral symmetry of the vacuum.Keywords
