Abstract
In this review examples were cited to show that clinical manifestations of a particular infectious agent may vary depending on the age and immune status of the host. It was also shown that certain clinical signs once thought to be characteristic manifestations of a specific agent might be caused or simulated by a variety of agents. Even in long recognized infectious diseases new clinical signs or manifestations may be detected by careful examination. Keywords
