Abstract
An integral equation formulation is obtained for the solution of electric and magnetic polarization in the material body subjected to external excitations. Numerical treatment of saturable magnetic field problems is facilitated by the introduction of a function called 'co-reluctivity' to describe the property of the magnetic material. The Gauss-Seidel iterative procedure is applied for solving the resulting system of nonlinear algebraic equations in order to overcome extremely large memory requirements in a three -dimensional problem by means of magnetic tape or disc operations. Keywords
