Abstract
An item analysis of the Stanford Hypnotic Scale. Hypnotic susceptibility was definitely related to neuroticism as indicated by the Maudsley Personality Inventory and the Manifest Anxiety scale, positively related to Bendig's Social Extroversion and MMPI--Si scale as well as Deference and Affiliation from EPPS.
