RF sub-carrier optical transmissions using a bus type topology for personal digital cellular systems

Abstract

This paper proposes a bus topology fiber-optic link that is compact and cost-effective. A wide noise free dynamic range of 70 dBc, and RF transmission of 24 channels is measured using a uncooled FP-LD without isolators.
