Abstract
The onset of ferromagnetism at the multicritical point (MCP) of the series a‐(FexNi100−x)0.75P16B6Al3 is examined by studying the low‐field reversible magnetization. The peak susceptibility at TSG is found to increase rapidly as one approaches the MCP (xc≊16.5) from below. The plateau magnetization for the reentrant alloys tends to vanish as x→x+c. The sharp change in the magnetic response on crossing xc is interpreted in terms of a percolation transition at xc.This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
