Abstract
Theoretical oscillator strengths of atomic helium are adjusted to reproduce accurate theoretical oscillator strength sums. The adjusted set of oscillator strengths is then used to calculate those properties of helium which may be written as oscillator strength sums. The results are in good agreement with experimental data and other theoretical calculations. Keywords
