Abstract
The relativistic treatment of the cylindrical mirror analyzer with surface entrance and exit slots is presented. Theoretically, its operation was found to be entirely unrestricted by the relativistic effect even for ultrarelativistic particles. A comparison of this device with other double focusing magnetic and electrostatic analyzers is presented. Keywords
