Abstract
Different primate teeth differ in crown shape, and tooth shape differs between the sexes. There is a general tendency within individuals for teeth to show systematically higher or lower buccolingual-mesio-distal crown size ratios. Although adjacent teeth of the same class or opponents of the same class generally show relatively high shape similarity correlations, the elevated values of r are more a function of distance along the arch than of morphologic class per se.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
