Abstract
The classical clinical signs of postoperative deep vein thrombosis were present in 3.8% of patients who had venous thrombosis seen by 125I-fibrinogen, Doppler ultrasound and venography. Local tenderness over the popliteal or femoral vein, if present, appears to be a reliable physical sign of an underlying venous thrombosis. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
