Abstract
Ta causes "practically no" reaction in neighboring tissues and is commercially available in several forms. As wire, it can be drawn to 0.003[image]", ties easily, and is visible by x-ray. As sheets 0.001[image] thick, it can be used for caps to prevent regeneration with neuroma formation. In annealed rolls of sheet 0.00075[image] thick it is better than the previously used foil for protection of nerve anastomoses. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
