Abstract
Die Kanülierung der Vena jugularis interna mit Hilfe anatomischer „Marker” ist ein Routineverfahren. Komplikationen durch Fehlpunktionen sind dokumentiert. Eine Gefäßlokalisation mit bildgebenden Verfahren läßt eine Verringerung der Komplikationen erwarten. Wir haben bei über 50 Patienten eine Jugularis interna Punktion mittels Ultraschall-Darstellung des Gefäßverlaufs komplikationslos durchgeführt. Das verwendete Gerät (Echokamera SSD-210 DX mit dem Small-part-Schallkopf UST-558-5, 5 MHz, 34 mm Abbildungsbreite) hat sich für die Darstellung der Vena jugularis interna zur Gefäßkanülierung als geeignet erwiesen. Localisation of the internal jugular vein (IJV) by anatomical landmarks is common clinical practice. Specific complications associated with this technique are documented. Cannulation of the IJV is likely to be safer, when performed under direkt vision, provided by a sonographic device. Following sonographic visualization,we have cannula ted the IJV of 50 patients without complications. The tested device (Echokamera SSD-210 DX combined with the small-part-transducer UST-558-5, 5 MHz, 34 mm) proved useful in facilitating IJV cannulation.
