Abstract
Cells of Saccharomyces cerevisiae were disintegrated by treatment in the Mickle apparatus for 5 to 60 minutes. After removal of remaining intact cells, the resulting homogenates incorporated 1-C14-acetate into long-chain fatty acids and non-saponifiable lipids.Keywords
