Abstract
A 34-yr-old woman with a 13-yr history of systemic lupus erythematosus had been taking azathioprine (Imuran) for 1 yr in an effort to control her cutaneous lesions and also as a steroid sparing agent. Acute pancreatitis developed, which could not be related to her lupus, prednisone administration, viral illness, or other causes. This unusual occurrence was apparently due to azathioprine therapy. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
