Resettling Vietnamese refugees: the service agency's role

Abstract
Nearly seven years have passed since the first refugees from Vietnam began arriving in the United States, and data suggest a positive relationship between the length of time they have been in this country and the levels of employment and income they have attained. This article assesses how the refugees have adjusted to life in the United States and discusses the role of social work agencies in their resettlement.
