Abstract
Variation in British material of S. capillaceum (Weiss) Schrank and S. rubellum Wils. was studied by principal component analysis. No evidence was found for the existence of discrete taxa. The characters that were used to distinguish the 2 were correlated, but the correlations were not strong enough to justify retention of S. rubellum, even as a variety. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
