Abstract
Of the 4 cases reported there were 3 instances of colonic perforations, 2 associated with fecal impaction and stercoral ulceration and 1 with evidence of vasculitis. The 4th patient had an unusual case of spontaneous perforation of the small intestine in scleroderma.
