Abstract
An in vitro method for the measurement of the accumulation of amino-acids in fragments of human small intestine is described, using slices obtained by jejunal biopsy, and from a surgical specimen of human intestine. The use of the jejunal biopsy for the diagnosis of malabsorption syndromes is discussed. Keywords
