Abstract
A large solid angle coincidence method is proposed to improve the efficiency of neutron depth profiling. This new method increases the counting rate by one to two orders of magnitude by opening up the solid angles of the detectors. The lack of angular information is compensated by measuring the two energies of the complementary particles in coincidence. Keywords
