An Unusual Strain of Streptococcus Isolated from Subacute Bacterial Endocarditis

Abstract
A motile Streptococcus was isolated from the blood of a patient suffering from subacute bacterial endocarditis. The strain could not be classified as a typical member of any of the commonly recognized groups of Streptococcus. It may, however, be a variant of S. faecalis.
