Abstract
Rh complexes were found to work as catalysts for oxidative arylation of ethylene with benzene to produce styrene by addition of acetylacetone and O2 without any oxidizing agent like Cu salt. Vinylacetate was not formed at all in spite of coexistence of acetic acid. Keywords
