Abstract
The analysis compares pre‐ and postrevolutionary radio broadcasting in Cuba and Nicaragua, with special attention to Radio Rebelde. Cuba has maintained tighter control over broadcasting than has Nicaragua, due to a variety of historical circumstances.Keywords
