Abstract
Due to the growing interest in extending orientation and mobility instruction to include elementary school age blind children, research was carried out to define the behavioral components in orientation and mobility which are relevant for young blind children, and to develop scales for the measurement of these skills. The construction of the scales is described, and experimental results with 173 blind children are presented. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
