Abstract
We report measurements of the superfluid density and transition temperature of confined within 98.2% open aerogel. Both the superfluid fraction and the temperature at which the superfluid is manifested are suppressed strongly from their bulk values. The results suggest that the aerogel reduces the order parameter by a mechanism other than as a diffusely scattering surface.
