Abstract
In an earlier paper (Adhikary and Panda, 1983) we have identified certain natural grouping of the factors, where for experimentation it is essential to consider the grouping, and introduced group divisible response surface designs of second order. In this paper, we have considered group divisible response surface designs of third order. It is wellknown that to construct a third order design too many design points are needed. If the conditions are such that a GDRS of third order will serve the purpose then we can fit the response surface with a considerably reduced number of design points .Keywords
