Modified Course of T. congolense Infection in Mice Given Diets with Milk Casein

Abstract

Parasitemia after exptl. infection with Trypanosoma congolense was delayed or prevented in mice receiving any of 3 diets with milk casein as the source of protein. This is ascribed to failure of incomplete diets to nourish the parasite.
