Cereal Cyst Eelworm in Spring Barley Damage Assessment Experiments 1963–4

Abstract
SUMMARY: In small plots marked out in barley fields in 1963–4, the relationships between initial cereal cyst eelworm populations, plant performance, and final eelworm populations were investigated. Fifteen experiments were carried out over the two years, but in only two of them was there a significant decline in yield associated with initial eelworm density in the soil. Possible reasons for this are discussed.
