Abstract
Anti-PP1Pk is found in the serum of individuals of phenotype p. Recurrent first trimester miscarriages have been reported in nearly 50 percent of mothers with the p phenotype. A comparative serologic study of three p phenotype mothers is reported. The proposita had three miscarriages while her two identical twin sisters had normal pregnancies. Following serum fractionation on DEAE-cellulose, serial agglutination with P1 and P2 erythrocytes indicated a possible association between IgG anti-P and the increased risk of abortion. Keywords
