Abstract
Banksia canei J . H. Willis consists of four distinct geographically isolated forms (topodemes). The variation noted between these by means of experimental cultivation is documented and a hypothesis to account for this variation is proposed. The relationship of this species with other Eubanksia species with a requirement for a cold treatment is also examined. Keywords
