Abstract
1. (1) One hundred and ten subjects of bilharzial disease were examined at autopsy with reference to infection in the bladder, rectum, ureters, kidney, prostate and testis and in the female, vagina, cervix, uterus, Fallopian tubes and ovaries. 2. (2) The comparative frequency of infection of these various organs with S. haematobium and S. mansoni is discussed. 3. (3) S. haematobium is the predominant parasite affecting all these parts, whereas S. mansoni occurs comparatively uncommonly. 4. (4) The frequency of infection and type of ovum found is shown in the table. 5. (5) The relation of the organs infected to the production of symptoms is discussed. Keywords
