Abstract
A complete design of a microprocessor-based control circuit for a three-phase controlled rectifier bridge is presented. The Motorola M6802 microprocessor is used, and a flowchart and program listing are provided. Practical problems such as synchronization with noisy references are discussed, and modifications to the basic program are indicated. The basic control' philosophy developed can be extended to. the entire class of phase controlled systems, e.g., cyclo- converters, ac-voltge controllers, etc. Keywords
