Spin-phonon interactions and disorder points

Abstract
A random-phase approximation is used to investigate an Ising system with spin-phonon interactions. It is found that at sufficiently high temperatures the correlation functions develop an oscillatory behaviour. These results are discussed with reference to earlier work on disorder points.Keywords
