The feeding habits of Taphozous melanopogon, Scotophilus temminckii, Hipposideros sp. and a small unidentified vespertilionid-like bat were studied. The bats were observed at night and utilized different levels for feeding. When termites swarmed, the bats did not occupy any one feeding level, but flew closer to the ground and through trees to stir the termites. Bats located the termites either by sonar or from noise produced by the termite wings.
