Abstract
The dormancy of Proctor barley in 1956 could be eliminated by treatment with 50% (v/v) sulphuric acid followed by chilling at 5° C. on a moist substrate for 3 days. Treatment with 50% sulphuric acid, while not lethal to undamaged corns, reduced the germination of mechanically damaged samples. Keywords
