Abstract
Absolute measurements are reported of the total cross sections for charge transfer and stripping of , , , and ions incident on He and in the energy range from 15 to 100 keV. These measurements include , , and . The cross sections are greater than those of the at the same velocity for all ions except . Charge-transfer cross sections have a velocity dependence which is not predicted by the simple adiabatic criterion.
