Abstract
An account is given of experiments carried out, during a period of sunspot activity, on the recently discovered phenomenon of solar radio noise. Measurements of the spectrum of such noise, as observed at ground-level, have been made, though it is pointed out that the shape of the spectral curve on the long wave-length side is deformed by ionospheric influences. Large and sudden increases in intensity of solar radio noise have been observed to occur simultaneously with solar flares and short wave radio fade-outs.Keywords
