Abstract
Several systems have been devised for increasing the productivity of quantitative liquid chromatographic systems, each of which facilitates performing the separation and quantification functions at different times in “off-line” rather than “on-line” modes. Many separations can then be performed simultaneously and each separation preserved in a simple “buffer storage” for subsequent rapid quantification. This procedure often results in increased detection sensitivity as well as more effective utilization of detection systems.
