Abstract
H3-thymidine labelled lymphocytes were transfused in guinea-pigs. Autoradiography of the recipient animals showed more labelled cells in the hepatic node than in the scapular or mesenteric nodes. The present experiment confirms the results of earlier transfusion experiments using P32-labelled lymphocytes. Many observations on normal, not transfused animals, fit the theory that the recirculation of lymphocytes blood - lymph - blood takes place via the liver and liver lymph to a larger extent than via other lymph routes. Keywords
