Abstract
In den letzten Jahren wurden bei Untersuchungen über die Feinstruktur und die chemischen sowie physikalischen Eigenschaften von organischen Molekülen in steigendem Maß konformationsanalytische Betrachtungen angestellt. Zur Charakterisierung eines organischen Moleküls muß man Konstitution (Reihenfolge der Atome), Konfiguration (cis und trans, D und L usw.) und Konformation kennen. Die Grundlagen und die zur Verfügung stehenden Methoden dieses Teilgebietes der Stereochemie werden erläutert.Keywords
