Abstract
A device is described which permits the differential thermal analysis of evaporated thin films outside or within the apparatus where they are prepared. The required mass of the sample is less than 50 mu g. Two thermograms are presented, showing the melting of a metal and the behaviour of an amorphous deposited selenium. Keywords
