Abstract
This paper summarizes the history and recent acceleration of progress in research on reproduction leading to improved means of contraception, in relation to worldwide funding. The authors list recommendations respecting the immediate need for a greatly expanded research effort to attain contraceptive means that are safe, effective, reversible, easily available, and widely acceptable for long-term use. This publication has 19 references indexed in Scilit:
