Abstract
Eighty-two of 142 young born in 31 litters to does kept on a vitamin-A deficient diet 12- 28 weeks before mating were hydrocephalic. The longer the deficient diet the higher was the proportion of hydrocephalics. Seven non-hydro-cephalic young had increased cerebrospinal fluid pressures. Keywords
