Abstract
Aborting fruits of the Carman variety of peach drop in 3 distinct waves during the first of 3 growth periods of the developing fruits. Differences between aborting and developing fruits are mainly in degree of development of normal parts. The possibility is indicated that the first step in abortion may be a disorder in the region of the chalaza. Embryo sac development is described. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
