Abstract
Proton-proton scattering in the Bev region is analyzed in terms of an interaction which, at 1 Bev, is taken to be a hard core of radius 0.45× cm together with an external absorption of Gaussian form. The hard core is assumed to disappear with increasing energy and to be replaced by absorption. General features of the data are well reproduced by this simple model.
