Abstract
In March of 1956, the author received from H. H. Keifer of the California State Department of Agriculture, several slides on which were mounted two species of pyemotid mites, one from a cotton boll and the other from the maple, Acer palmatum. Both species were found to be previously undescribed, with one representing a new genus of the family Pyemotidae. Keywords
