Abstract
Some recent studies on the mechanisms of inflammation and the activity of nonsteroid anti-inflammatory agents were reviewed. Because of the complexity of the inflammatory process, the clinical use of combinations of agents may be more rewarding then the use of such agents alone. Factors such as placebo responsiveness and persistence of response to prior use of medications must be carefully weighed in all clinical trials. This publication has 92 references indexed in Scilit:
