Abstract
An implant metastasis developed along the tract of a transhepatic biliary drainage catheter 4 mo. after its initial placement for relief of common bile duct obstruction by carcinoma of the pancreas. The catheter was in place for 22 days and had been removed during a Whipple procedure. This is the 3rd such reported incident related to percutaneous biliary drainage. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
