Abstract
The magnetic‐field dependences of the Josephson critical current were investigated in many high‐ and low‐current Josephson junctions. Our experimental results were different from the theoretically expected Fraunhofer diffraction pattern with respect to its period in magnetic field and the maximum critical current for high‐current junctions. It was found that the first period of the magnetic‐field dependence increased with the Josephson current and the maximum critical currents were reduced. The differences were interpreted as the influence of the self‐field induced by the Josephson current. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
