Abstract
Like all other alkaline pyrogallol solutions, Rockwell''s bicarbonate solution evolves CO when absorbing [OMICRON]O, notably if the absorbent is not agitated. In the cold it does not absorb [OMICRON]O; when warmed, bicarbonate changes to carbonate with production of CO2; absorption of [OMICRON]O and evolution of CO then proceeds. Inclusion of acid phosphate in the formula is useless. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
