Abstract
A new method, involving the application of PMR spectrometry for the assay of penicillamine, is proposed. Among other peaks, the PMR spectrum of penicillamine has two well-defined singlets. The principle of the method involves comparing the integral of these signals to that of the multiplet system of sodium benzoate which is used as internal standard. Keywords
